Our Services
What we offer at Lernstudio Celle
A complete overview of all educational services available — with honest descriptions of what each service involves and who it is designed for.
1-on-1 Subject Tutoring
For school students (class 5–13), university students and adult learners
Individual tutoring is our core service. One student meets with one educator for a 60 or 90-minute session, structured around that student's specific needs. Sessions are available in all core academic subjects — Mathematics, English, German, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and others.
Each programme begins with a free diagnostic consultation. A personal learning plan is developed before sessions start. The same educator works with the student throughout the programme. Parents of younger students receive monthly written updates.
A typical engagement includes
- Free 30-minute initial consultation
- Written personal learning plan
- Weekly sessions of 60 or 90 minutes
- Monthly progress summary (email)
- Progress review after 4–6 weeks
Scope note: Individual tutoring is not a homework completion service. Sessions focus on understanding and skill development. Students are expected to practise independently between sessions for the programme to be effective.
Small Group Tuition (2–3 students)
For students with similar needs and levels, all subjects
Groups of two or three students at a similar level work together with one educator. Groups are formed carefully — we do not simply fill available slots. Students in the same group have comparable gaps and overlapping learning objectives.
This format works particularly well for language learning, where peer interaction supports speaking confidence, and for students who work well in a slightly social learning environment. It is also more cost-effective than individual tuition.
A typical engagement includes
- Free initial consultation (individual, before group placement)
- Level assessment and group matching
- Fixed weekly session time
- Individual progress tracked alongside group progress
Scope note: Groups are limited to three students. We do not run larger classes. Waiting periods may apply when finding a suitable group match.
Language Courses
For students, adults and professionals — English, French, Spanish, German (DaF), Latin
Language courses at Lernstudio Celle are available as individual, small group or short intensive formats. We offer instruction in English, French, Spanish, Latin and German as a Foreign Language (DaF) across all CEFR levels.
Courses are not curriculum-based packages. Each course is planned to the learner's current level, goal and timeline. A B1 English course for a 14-year-old preparing for a school certificate looks different from a B1 English course for a 45-year-old preparing for a job interview — we account for that difference.
A typical engagement includes
- Level assessment (brief, unpressured exercise)
- Course plan with CEFR milestone targets
- Regular sessions covering speaking, writing, reading and listening
- Study materials provided (no separate purchase required)
Scope note: Language learning requires consistent practice between sessions. Learners who do not practise independently between sessions progress more slowly. We discuss realistic timelines at the consultation stage.
Exam Preparation Programmes
Abitur, MSA, IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge (B2/C1/C2), DELF, DELE
Focused preparation for a specific examination with a fixed date. We design the programme backwards from the exam date, ensuring diagnostic work, content coverage and exam technique practice are completed in the right order.
A typical engagement includes
- Diagnostic session to identify gaps
- Timeline-based preparation plan
- Past paper practice under timed conditions
- Specific marking-scheme knowledge (for language exams)
Scope note: We do not guarantee examination outcomes. We provide structured preparation with honest assessment of readiness. Students beginning preparation very close to the exam date may not have sufficient time for all intended content.
Study Skills & Learning Coaching
For students who struggle with organisation, concentration or learning confidence
Some students do not primarily need subject tuition — they need help building the habits and strategies that make learning possible. This service focuses on study organisation, concentration techniques, revision strategies and the psychological dimensions of learning.
A typical engagement includes
- Assessment of current study habits and routines
- Personalised weekly study plan
- Strategies for note-taking, revision and focus
- Confidence-building exercises adapted to the student
Scope note: Study skills coaching is not therapeutic or psychological support. If a student's learning difficulties appear to have a clinical basis (e.g. undiagnosed learning differences), we will note this and suggest that parents consult appropriate specialists.
