About Lernstudio Celle

A learning studio built for how people actually learn

We started in 2018 with a single room and a clear idea: educational support should be thoughtful, individual and free of the pressures that make school hard for many students.

Why Lernstudio Celle exists

Lernstudio Celle grew out of a frustration shared by many educators: traditional tutoring often replicates the same approaches that made school difficult in the first place — fixed formats, passive instruction and little attention to the individual.

When Dr. Hanna Berger and Marcus Vollmer founded the studio in 2018, they wanted something different: a learning environment where the pace, the methods and the goals were shaped entirely around the student. Where a 14-year-old struggling with algebra and a 38-year-old preparing for a language certificate could both feel that this place was built for them.

We have since supported more than 380 students in Celle and the surrounding region. Our approach has not changed. Each programme is designed from the first conversation, not from a template.

What we stand for

Honesty over salesmanship

We tell students and parents what we can realistically help with. We do not promise grade outcomes.

Confidence before grades

When students understand and feel capable, results follow. We focus on understanding first.

One educator per student

Continuity matters. Students do not get passed between teachers based on availability.

Calm learning environment

Our studio in Celle is quiet, bright and unhurried. This is deliberate.

The people behind the programmes

Our teaching team holds qualifications from German and European universities. We do not employ unqualified tutors.
